Colleen Terrill will be joining the Keynote Panel at the Marshall Simonds Middle School event location. Colleen is currently the District Technology Integration Specialist for the Mashpee Public School District. She has developed the curriculum for Essential Technology which provides 7th graders at Mashpee Middle School an opportunity to explore new and cutting edge technologies. She has worked to develop and oversee the implementation of a 1:1 iPad initiative for grade six and is currently expanding the program for grades 712. Colleen has paved the way for a new robotics and drone club for middle school students. The club will be using this new technology to explore the world of science and mathematics as it applies to cape cod and it’s ecosystems. She provides weekly professional development for the school district and local community. Colleen’s students presented at the MASSCue Conference this past October using innovative technology. Colleen is also an organizational leader for the PARCC assessment and it’s online implementation in Mashpee schools.
Prior to her current role, Colleen taught grade six for fifteen years. Colleen designed a course, Integrating Technology into the Classroom and is an adjunct faculty member at Fitchburg State University
